The Helicopter Emergency Egress Device 3 (HEED 3) manufactured by Submersible Systems, Inc. is a compact, lightweight and reliable Category A device designed to increase survivability in case of an unintended submersion in water. Born out of a need to provide US Navy helicopter pilots with a small, handheld breathing device the Heed 3 has been saving lives since 1979.

HEED 3 Includes unit with black cylinder and dial gauge pressure indicator. Option with and without holster.

Also available is a Fill Station Refill Adapter -- Fills unit from a high-pressure, breathing air quality Air Compressor.

New hose model available now! The HEED 3 is also available with a 20” hose for customers who prefer a separate regulator.

Product ships empty - customers must purchase a Refill Adapter.
