The bars can withstand both extreme cold and hot temperatures ranging from -22°F to 149°F. Each 2400 calorie bar is vacuum-sealed and contains six individually-wrapped bars that are 400 calories. This makes it easier to ration out to others or to keep the contents fresh over a period of time. This product is made in the U.S.A. and is U.S. Coast Guard and Canadian Transport approved.
